No but i see custom homemade speakers there, and a pile-o-cds on the floor, er rug !!!! Take the purple filter off the camera, maybe then we could tell !!! I am guessing the koa is on the left, mainly from the sides. You can keep the tub-o-pooh. You better have these well marke dor you wont know hwats what !!! |
This is really a tough one...... Both Bob and Tim have fantastic zoot and both are great guys too. But if I had to guess I would go with my first guess of which I can't explain but something tells me the one on the right is Bob's. ![]()
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Dang that is funny Hesh. For some reason I agree with you. Jeff |

Hesh, where i come from, way up north, there are so many Poiriers that people were saying that if you wanted to find one, all you had to do was to toss a rock with your foot and one would come out! ![]() Seems that if you have a hard time finding Bob, all you have to do is just find a wood pile! ![]() |
Geeze I finally win my first one and there is no lard...... ![]() It was simply an "educated guess." What I mean is that recently I have been working with a lot of zoot from Bob, walnut, African Mahogany, and Lacey just got some super black ebony headplates in the mail from Bob (Thanks Bob!). We noticed and commented to each other Friday that Bob's zoot is always cut very square and uniform. With this in mind the set on the right looked like Bob's work. Now this would not have worked at all if we were looking at my Tiger Myrtle from Tim in as much as that is cut perfectly on all edges as well. The thing that made me pretty sure was that the set on the left is more flamed and Tim has great flame on his Acacia.
Hesh Glad to hear Lacey liked the headplates. As for square stock I guess it goes back to my furnture and cabinet making days. I like to start with nice squared up and surfaced stock before re-sawing. Although that's not always possible. ![]() |
